Most contact lens manufacturers make lenses in one size.  The problem with this is, one size does not fit all.  Not all corneas and lid apertures are the same.  Certain ethnicities have physical characteristics that would benefit from a smaller contact lens.  It’s also great for those who are new to contact lenses or have trouble with insertion and removal.  

A smaller lens can make a HUGE impact on contact lens comfort.
